Capone became involved with gang activity at a young age after being expelled from school at age 14.
Capone was sentenced for 11 eleven years in federal prison which included a stay at Alcatraz. In the final years of Capone's life he deteriorated physically due to late stage neuorsyphilis which he contracted as a young man. He suffered a stroke and cardiac arrest and died on January 25th, 1947.
